IPCA Pre-retreat workshops by Helen Breil

Introducing the Neckline Clip

Join me in reviving a form of jewelry popular in the 1930's & 40's - the dress clip - or what I am calling the Neckline Clip. Click here to learn more. This form of jewelry is uniquely suited to the lightweight and versatile properties of polymer clay.  My contemporary version works both as a clip on your clothing neckline as well as on a cord worn as a traditional pendant. When worn on a cord it has the benefit of being very easy to string because the open clip allows you to slip the piece onto the cord without having to worry about size of the clasp. As a clip they look great, even on a T-shirt!

I have developed 2 styles of clips - an all-polymer version as well as one using a jewelry finding.  In summary - this is one versatile and fun form of jewelry!
