1)  FLAT SPIRAL BRACELET
Teacher: Lin 
 
So easy my 82 year old mother (who has never picked up a beading needle) finished one in an evening!  You will be provided with 6mm glass pearls, 4mm bicone crystals, seed beads, Fireline, needle, clasp and findings.  There will be various colours from which to choose. 
 
Kit cost; $15/$10 for members

FLAT SPIRAL BRACELET REGISTRATION

2)  EASY WIRE-WRAPPED GEMSTONE NUGGET NECKLACE
Teacher: Pearl 
 
Learn how to wire wrap an irregular gemstone nugget using the pinch and twist method.  This class also teaches you how to scroll wire and make a simple bail.  No prior experience is necessary.  A small selection of nuggets will be offered as well as fine silver plated wire. A leather necklace cord will also be provided. 
Bonus: once you learn this method, you can also use it for sea glass projects in the future.
Please bring:  chain nose pliers, round nose pliers, flush cutter, mylon jawed pliers (optional).

This pin symbolizes the connection women have with one another.
 
Please bring needle nose pliers.  Kit will include everything else needed to complete the project.

4)  Netting with Colour

​Create this really neat betted bracelet made of seed beeds with a button closure.  Kit includes size 8 seed beads, 2 buttons, thread and fully illustrated instructions.

5) Moosehair Tufting
Teacher: Naomi 
​Try your hand at contemporary native moosehair tufting. We will create a small sampler Of this contemporary art form. It will be a basic introduction to this First Nation art form. Participants must bring a sharp Small pair of needle working scissors to trim the moosehair. Everything else will be supplied as part of the kit.

6) A Little Peyote Ring
Teacher: Sherri
A basic but fun and quick project using 10/0 Delica beads for anyone who wants to learn basic even-count Peyote or anyone who has done Peyote and would like to make a ring. Kit includes needle, Fireline, stop bead, and enough beads to make a size 9 ring. Instruction is visual hands-on.  Please bring sharp scissors, beading mat, light and or magnifier if needed. 

Kit cost:  $11/ $6 for members

Note: Items for kits are purchased by the instructor on your behalf based on your registration.  If you cannot attend and you have registered, please contact the events coordinator ASAP to discuss how your kit items should be handled or to allow anyone on a waiting list to have an opportunity to attend.  If no cancellation notice is given, kit fee payment may be required.  

General Meeting Information:
  • Held the third Monday of each Month
  • 7:00 - 9:00 pm
  • They are held at The Hampton Inn & Suites (beside Galaxy Cinema) 725 Imperial Road North Guelph, Ontario Canada  map
  • Meetings consist of announcements, old and new business, show & tell of member’s work, the evenings’ program, and socializing. 
  • The program can include anything from: hands-on mini-workshops from invited artists, guest speakers, demonstrations, trunk shows, road trips or informal gatherings.
